About The Position:


SUNY Plattsburgh is accepting applications for part-time instructors for courses taught on the campus of SUNY Plattsburgh at Queensbury.

Successful candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching in an institution dedicated primarily to undergraduate education. They will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of and sensitivity to diversity and gender issues, as SUNY Plattsburgh is committed to ensuring that its graduates are educated to succeed in an increasingly complex, multicultural, and interdependent world.

Required Qualifications:


MA in social science focused on criminal justice required. Successful teaching experience also required. Successful candidates will have demonstrated an ability to work effectively and collegially with faculty, staff, and administrators.

Preferred Qualifications:


Ph.D. in social science preferred.
