4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Position Title : Automation QA Engineer Location : Remote (operates on EST hours) Position Status : Contract Position Description Our client is looking for Automation QA Engineer candidates to design and code automated tests to validate new features/enhancements using Typescript and Playwright. This position aligns with architects and business partners to define Agile stories for new capabilities. Responsibilities Create Test Plans for features Understand functional and non-functional requirements Design and code automated tests to validate new features/enhancements Troubleshoot production issues Create/update automated tests to validate functional and non-functional requirements and security of features Create integration tests Work with the Infrastructure team to build testing environments with necessary tools and frameworks Work with Release Management team to configure test pipelines for automated test execution Develop tools and employ best practices that will increase the efficiency of your team Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirements team meetings Report defects and track defect resolutions Follow agile development practices Maintain test artifacts and repositories such as test plans, test case documents, automated test cases, execution metrics, etc. Required Education | Experience BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience 3-4 years of Test Automation Experience Required Skills Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript Experience with UI Frameworks such as MS Playwright Experience with Object-Oriented programming Competency with Visual Studio 2015 and above Proficiency with Git and Postman Experience with Agile and Azure DevOps About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
