Job Description:
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will design, develop, and enhance scalable solutions across the ServiceNow platform, focusing on IT Service Management (ITSM), secure integrations, workflow automation, and user experience improvements. You will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver robust, secure, and efficient ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform enhancements.
• Build and support secure integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks, Integration Hub, MID Server, and related technologies.
• Develop scripted REST APIs, business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer workflows.
• Configure and enhance ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
• Create intuitive user experiences across Employee Center, Service Portal, workspaces, forms, catalogs, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and support teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, integration, data, and performance-related issues.
• Implement development standards, security controls, automated testing, and code review best practices.
• Support platform upgrades, releases, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and implement automation, AI capabilities, and reusable platform components where appropriate.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Expertise in ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
• Experience building and supporting integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, webhooks, Integration Hub, and MID Server.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
• Experience creating and optimizing user experiences within Service Portal, Employee Center, and workspace interfaces.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to platform performance, integrations, workflows, and data management.
• Experience implementing secure development practices, source control, automated testing, and release management processes.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow automation, AI capabilities, platform upgrades, and enterprise-scale implementations is preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
