Senior Project ManagerAltus Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support engineering services, energetic materials manufacturing, and technical programs at Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD). This role supports program execution across engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, and safety operations in support of the Energetics Engineering Services Support (ESS) effort. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing technical programs and subcontract execution, including project planning, resource management, scheduling, reporting, and coordination of engineering and manufacturing efforts. This position requires experience supporting complex technical programs and the ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance in a dynamic environment.This role is critical to ensuring successful execution of engineering services by coordinating technical resources, maintaining program documentation, and supporting reporting requirements in accordance with contract deliverables.Primary Responsibilities:Provide senior project management support to technical and management staffManage subcontract tasks using structured project management practices and tools compatible with Microsoft Office 365Plan, coordinate, and execute project activities across engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, and safety task areasDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, and task execution strategiesTrack and report project cost, schedule, and performance metricsPrepare and submit monthly progress reports and financial reports in accordance with contract requirementsMaintain and submit biweekly consolidated timecard reporting in required formatsCoordinate across engineering, manufacturing, laboratory, and safety teams to support program executionSupport development of program documentation, schedules, and administrative materialsSchedule and support monthly status meetings with program leadershipTrack personnel certifications, training requirements, and compliance recordsMaintain personnel access records for facilities and systemsEnsure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirementsSupport execution across multiple SOW task areas as requiredPerform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational objectivesQualifications:Active U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance (Must have interim clearance before start date)Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of project/program management experience supporting technical programsExperience managing projects in manufacturing, production, engineering, or industrial environmentsExperience managing projects in engineering, manufacturing, or technical environmentsExperience with project scheduling, reporting, and resource coordinationExperience supporting cost, schedule, and performance trackingStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, safety, and government teamsPreferred:Experience supporting energetics, ammunition, explosives, or defense programsExperience working at NSWC Indian Head or similar DoD environmentsFamiliarity with contract reporting requirements and CDRLsExperience supporting multi-disciplinary technical teamsExperience supporting government contracts and program execution environmentsAbout Altus:Since 2004, Altus Technology Solutions has been committed to providing top-quality, performance-driven services to both government and commercial clients.
