LTC Therapy Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Ingraham Manor Nursing Home. Work alongside experienced therapy professionals while helping residents improve mobility, rebuild strength, and achieve greater independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.
What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility
• Carry out individualized treatment plans and support established rehabilitation goals
• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut PTA license required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply
