Position Details:

• Special Education Teacher roles available:
  • Life Skills Self-Contained
  • Instructional/Resource setting
• Assignment dates: August 17, 2026 – May 27, 2027
• Hours: Full time (~33.25 hours/week), on-site only
• Location: Near Zion, IL
• Pay: $82/hour

Qualifications:

• Active Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Experience in Special Education classrooms (Life Skills Self-Contained or Instructional/Resource) preferred
• Ability to provide a current PEL upon submission

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
• Support students’ academic, functional, and social-emotional growth
