Building Inspector: Code Compliance & Plans Review

The City of Plainfield is seeking a qualified Building Inspector to inspect new and existing buildings, review construction plans, conduct field inspections, and clearly communicate code requirements to contractors, architects, and property owners. The Inspector enforces the State Uniform Construction Code to protect public safety, health, and welfare. Candidates must possess a valid Building Inspector's License (RCS, ICS, and/or HHS) issued by NJ DCA, thorough knowledge of the State UCC, and #J-18808-Ljbffr New Jersey State League of Municipalities
