Sr Director, Identity, Authentication & Bot Prevention Full-time. Austin, Texas. The Senior Director of Identity, Authentication & Bot Prevention will be responsible for leading the comprehensive strategy for managing fraud risks associated with PayPal’s customers identity, authentication and Bot attacks prevention. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader who can effectively navigate the complexities of risk management while leveraging advanced analytics, data science and innovative solutions to enhance risk mitigation strategies. Essential Responsibilities Develop and articulate a clear, compelling vision and strategy for data science, inspiring the team and aligning with PayPal's long-term goals. Lead the execution of high-impact data science projects that drive business transformation and innovation. Collaborate with senior executives to integrate data science into strategic planning and decision-making. Oversee the development of advanced data science capabilities, including machine learning and AI. Ensure the highest standards of data governance, privacy, and security. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the data science team. Minimum Qualifications 12+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years of experience leading others. Compensation and Benefits Base pay varies by location: New York City, New York: $242,000.00 - $359,150.00 Annually Chicago, Illinois: $220,000.00 - $326,700.00 Annually Austin, Texas: $220,000.00 - $326,700.00 Annually Scottsdale, Arizona: $209,000.00 - $310,200.00 Annually Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation.
