Provide a uniformed presence for the overall protection of employees, customers and assets of the operation.*Native American hiring preference for qualified candidates.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAbility to deal with customers and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to diffuse anger, collect accurate information, and resolve problems and concernsPromote guest satisfaction by responding to guest inquiriesObserve all RV parking and all parking areas as well as all accessible buildings on the propertyProvide assistance to every department within organization as well as Resort guestsCasino Security Officers will report any unusual activity, occurrence, or incidents on the part of any guest or employee of 7 Cedars Resort to the Sergeant on duty immediatelyProvide basic Fire Fighting, First Aid and safety responseCompletes all required daily logs, incident reports and other legal documentsCasino Security Officers shall file accurate and truthful reports concerning guest, employees, or themselvesOperates company vehicles as directed to do soDrive shuttles for both guests and employeesPerform miscellaneous duties as assignedMust follow all safety rules and regulationsFollow all general and department policies and proceduresAbility to man stationary Security postsEnsure customer are of legal age in designated areasPartake in the slot drop which requires ability to push around large carts with a secondary person, bending over and twisting as well as ability to be able to go from standing to kneeling positions on a regular basisQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredMust be 21 years or olderDispatching and 2-way radio skills preferredOne-year public relations and casino security experience preferredKnowledge of safety/security practices and procedures including: emergency situations, First Aid, CPR, emergency evacuation, defibrillator, and basic fire equipmentMust possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team membersStrong organization, prioritization and multiple-tasking skillsStrong attention to detail, and a commitment to qualityHighly adaptable with the ability to adjust to change in a positive mannerAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividingMust be able to read and interpret different forms of identificationJoin the 7 Cedars Team!Located in the heart of the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, 7 Cedars Resort offers more than just a job—we offer the opportunity to build a rewarding career in one of the most scenic places in the Pacific Northwest.
