College to Corporate IT Internship - Application Development (TX)

In this internship, you will: Design, build, and enhance applications that support Vanguard’s internal systems and client-facing platforms Participate in the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment Work with modern technologies and tools in an Agile/LEAN team environment Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions Contribute ideas, solve problems, and drive outcomes both independently and as part of a team Build connections with peers, mentors, and leaders across Vanguard Receive ongoing coaching and feedback to support your development What it takes: Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field (required) Strong interest in application development, including web, mobile, or backend systems Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher (preferred) Additional Information: This is a full-time, paid 10-week summer internship Vanguard does not offer visa sponsorship for this role Start date: May/June 2027 Special Factors Sponsorship Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position.
