Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support a busy retail pharmacy by providing reliable per diem coverage during vacation periods in Ashland, OH. This role requires dedication to thorough medication dispensing and excellent customer service within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and verifying over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software
• Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Conducting accurate data entry and product verification
• Receiving and signing for controlled/narcotic drug deliveries
• Collaborating with a team of three full-time pharmacy technicians
• Maintaining pharmacy operations from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no lunch closure

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active and clear Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in retail pharmacy settings
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage a large volume of prescriptions efficiently

This position offers the flexibility of per diem work with the responsibility of covering vacation periods. The schedule aligns with the pharmacy hours, requiring presence from early morning until late afternoon weekdays.
