The MRI Tech 2 is responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures that produce high-quality diagnostic images. This role requires independent judgment, technical proficiency, and adherence to hospital policies. Responsibilities include MRI procedures, basic portable, fluoroscopy, extremity and chest x-rays, biopsies, trauma alerts, MRI protocols, neurovascular MRA’s, IV skills, Q.A. maintenance, and sterile contrast studies. Qualifications include: Completion of a 2-year Radiology Technology program from an accredited school or AMRIT program Radiology Technologist License Registered with ARRT & MRI registry eligible or AMRIT certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification At least 1 year of progressive experience in MRI diagnostic imaging This position is based at the USF Health South Tampa Center, scheduled for full-time days (0800-1630), Monday through Friday. The minimum salary is $32.35 per hour.
