Certified Phlebotomist – Primary Care Office

We are a growing, privately owned primary care practice seeking a Certified Phlebotomist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, friendly, professional, and confident with blood draws. We offer a welcoming, family-oriented work environment where every team member is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens accurately and safely
• Properly identify patients, label specimens, and prepare samples for laboratory pickup
• Centrifuge, process, store, and package specimens as required
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
• Maintain phlebotomy supplies and a clean, organized work area
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and laboratory safety procedures
• Provide a comfortable and professional experience for patients, including elderly patients and those with difficult veins
• Assist the clinical team with basic patient-care duties when needed

Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomist preferred
• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong venipuncture skills
• Experience with difficult blood draws is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient-service skills
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work well as part of a small healthcare team
• Basic EMR/computer skills
