Sports Medicine Patient Scheduling Coordinator  (On-site, Steubenville, OH 43952)

• Job Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire (Permanent placement on company payroll with full benefits; not a temporary job)
• Location: Steubenville, OH 43952 
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (Monday – Friday daylight hours; no weekends or holidays required)
• New Hire Starting Base Pay: Salary to be determined based on experience 
• Future Earning Potential: Position salary range progresses over time through performance, tenure, and administrative career ladder advancement.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Completion of medical terminology coursework preferred.
• Experience & Skills: Prior medical front office or clerical experience  required . Typing proficiency (minimum 25 WPM) and strong data entry skills.
• Systems Knowledge: Knowledge of medical terminology required; familiarity with electronic scheduling software and medical office systems preferred.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong telephone etiquette, professional public interaction skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Patient Scheduling & Coordination: Obtain accurate patient, clinical, and demographic information to schedule specialized medical and sports medicine procedures efficiently.
• Communication & Public Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming patient inquiries, communicating courteously and professionally over the phone and in person.
• Data Integrity & Practice Support: Maintain accurate patient scheduling data, verify appointment details, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless daily clinic workflow.
• Administrative & Clerical Operations: Perform core medical clerical duties, update patient scheduling records, and maintain confidential patient files in accordance with practice standards.
