4 year old Preschool Teacher

Our preschool is looking for a full-time 4 year old preschool teacher who can help create innovative lesson plans and enhance the learning environment for our children. This is a Christian preschool; therefore, you must be able to not only teach children basic learning skills, but also teach them about God. This teacher must be well organized and be able to work in a very fast paced environment, being able to quickly adapt to changing conditions and rapidly assessing the needs of children will be a necessary skill.

• Prepare lesson plans that meet educational requirements in an age-appropriate manner and teach in a manner suitable for the ages of all participating students.
• Manage a busy classroom environment, and provide the structure and discipline required for successful learning for everyone in the classroom.
• Help children meet educational milestones through personalized instruction and other supplementary assistance.
• Provide helpful feedback to parents and guardians on a regular or as needed basis.
• Address basic interpersonal skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and asking permission in the classroom.

• Ability to develop lesson plans that meet educational standards.
• Familiarity with classroom management skills.
• 2 years of experience working with children.
• Submit to a criminal background check and drug screening upon hire.
• Handle state ratios
• High School Diploma

• Associate's degree in early childhood education is preferred but not required.
• At least 3 years' experience in a classroom setting.
• Teaching degree or certificate in early childhood education.
