Application Engineer II

As an Application Engineer II at Honeywell, you will contribute to the successful deployment and support of our products and solutions by providing technical expertise and assistance to customers. Your role involves understanding customer requirements, implementing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective application of Honeywell technologies. You will report directly to the Application Engineering Supervisor and work from the Mason, OH location on a hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work onsite 100 % Monday‑Friday. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise and support for Honeywell application products to customers and internal teams. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and optimize application solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project implementation and provide training to end users. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Minimum of 3 years of experience in application engineering or a related technical role. Strong knowledge of Honeywell products and the ability to apply technical expertise to customer needs. Proficiency in troubleshooting application issues, configuring software solutions, and delivering technical training. Experience with relevant tools and technologies such as Honeywell application software, project management tools, and industry standards. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Engineering such as Electrical Engineering (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME). Experience working in a cross‑functional team environment and managing multiple projects. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions.
