Registered Nurse-Emergency Department-Night

Position Highlights Position: RN - Emergency Room - Nights Location: Chicago, IL Full Time: 36 hours per week Hours: Nights (7p-7a); every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays required Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 (determined by expertise and experience) What you will do Demonstrate commitment to the mission and exhibit service orientation and adhere to hospital responsibilities and standards. Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, plan, implement, evaluate) to provide nursing care. Maintain knowledge and competency reflective of current standards. Interact and contribute to professional development of peers and colleagues. Integrate ethical provisions into all areas of nursing practice. Integrate evidence‑based practice and research findings into practice. Systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Promote safety measures to prevent patient and staff injuries. Identify patients correctly using two unique patient identifiers. Observe, check, and monitor all equipment for proper functioning. Maintain a safe therapeutic environment and recognize need for action in emergencies. Complete documentation thoroughly and timely. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. What you will need Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Communicates effectively. Current Illinois Nursing Licensure. Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association). ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on unit requirements. No prior experience required, but preferred. Benefits Premium pay for eligible employees.
