Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly base pay
• Commission on retail sales
• Bonus Service commission
• Guaranteed minimum tips for the first 90 days
• 401k employer contribution

Responsibilities:

• Perform haircuts and styling services for children of all ages
• Bringing in the latest trends in children's hairstyles
• Creating an environment where children feel at ease and parents trust the salon staff with their children's care through engaging and communicating effectively with young clients and providing exceptional customer service by understanding and accommodating the specific needs of them and their parents
• Work together with colleagues to enhance the salon's success and ambiance while keeping a tidy and orderly workspace, guaranteeing a clean and sanitary setting for the safety and well-being of both customers and the team

Qualifications:

• Valid cosmetology or barber license
• Creativity and ability to adapt styles to suit individual children's preferences
• Being a team-player, and be able to work in a fast-paced, child-friendly environment
• Having the patience and calmness of dealing with children; and exhibiting positive/fun/exciting attitude towards kids
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with children at their level, as well as with parents or guardians
