Physical Therapist Assistant

Outpatient Orthopedics / Private Practice

Position includes a $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time.

Due to growth, Chesterton Physical Therapy is hiring a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient orthopedics position in Chesterton, IN.

All experience levels are welcome. The clinic is a PT-owned private practice that proudly serves the local community, with clinic locations in Chesterton, Michigan City, Portage, and Valparaiso.

The expected caseload for full-time Physical Therapist Assistants at Chesterton Physical Therapy is 60 patient visits per week. Caseload is primarily general orthopedics with some chronic pain. PTAs use a combination of manual therapy and exercise therapy. Candidates with an interest in Pelvic Floor are preferred.

The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 9 am until 6 pm and Friday from 9 am until 5 pm. No weekends. No holidays. Enjoy an excellent work/life balance in this position. The actual work schedule is flexible, depending on clinic needs, staff availability, and the preference of the candidate hired. Candidates with a minimum of 20 hours per week of availability over 3 days a week will be considered.

Compensation for this role is in the range of $28 to $35 per hour, based on experience. Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package.

• Eligible for Indiana state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Fulltime or parttime availability is required.
• Prior experience is not required. New grads are welcome.
