Overview
Registered Nurse – Infection Prevention Specialist in Roseville, California. Travel - temporary assignment beginning 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,593–$2,687 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Responsibilities
- Perform surveillance, analysis, interpretation and reporting of hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and related trends.
- Write and update infection prevention policies and procedures to ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, CDC and other recognized guidelines.
- Maintain surveillance data, conduct initial assessments, and produce clear reports for infection prevention leadership.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to support employee health screenings, annual immunization updates, and workers’ compensation reporting of injuries and illnesses.
- Provide infection prevention education to clinical staff and participate in regulatory inspections and audits as needed.

Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Knowledge of infection prevention principles and surveillance concepts related to HAIs
- Ability to work 20 hours per week in a daytime shift
- Capacity to operate in a healthcare-adjacent setting and collaborate with HR and clinical teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
