Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

Wausau, WI | $36$51/hour | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Days & Nights Aspirus Health is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at our regional hospital in Wausau, WI. Full-time position with 12-hour shifts

As an IMCU RN, you'll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients who require closer monitoring and more advanced clinical care than a traditional medical-surgical setting. Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care. Monitor patients closely and recognize changes in condition. Assess, prioritize, and respond to evolving patient needs. Care for patients with complex medical, neurological, trauma, and post-surgical conditions. Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, and other members of the care team. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. Develop and strengthen advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills. Educate patients and families throughout the care process.

What We're Looking For

Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility through a compact license

BLS certification

Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills

New graduate RNs are welcome to apply

Experienced RNs with med-surg, telemetry, step-down, progressive care, IMCU, ICU, critical care, or similar experience are encouraged to apply
