Travel & Expenses is available for the right candidate. I need TWO (2) Active Directory Resources ONSITE in North Carolina. Onsite Archdale, NC ASAP start.

Position Summary

As an Active Directory Expert with 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Active Directory infrastructure, including forests, objects, group policies, and identity and access management. You will also work with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to implement and manage cloud-based identity and access management solutions. You will work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure the efficient and secure operation of the Active Directory and Azure AD environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Forest and Object Management: Manage multiple Active Directory forests, including domain and trust relationships, schema modifications, and object management. Monitor and troubleshoot replication, DNS, and other Active Directory services. Implement best practices for forest and object management, including security configurations, group membership, and permissions.
• Group Policy Management: Create, configure, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security policies, manage user and computer settings, and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Troubleshoot and resolve GPO-related issues and provide recommendations for improving Group Policy management processes.
• Identity and Access Management: Design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and authentication in both on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD. Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and other security controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Active Directory and Azure AD resources. Monitor and audit user accounts and access permissions to detect and mitigate potential security risks.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security controls and configurations in accordance with organizational policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements for both Active Directory and Azure AD environments. Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify and respond to security incidents. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical guides, and reports, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Active Directory and Azure AD environments. Provide regular status updates and reports to IT management and stakeholders on the performance, security, and availability of Active Directory and Azure AD services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in managing and maintaining Active Directory and Azure AD environments, including forests, objects, group policies, and identity and access management.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD concepts, architecture, and administration, including domain and trust relationships, replication, DNS, LDAP, Kerberos, and Azure AD Connect.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for user and computer management, security settings, and compliance in both on-premises Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Proficient in identity and access management technologies, such as user provisioning, deprovisioning, authentication, MFA, RBAC, and Azure AD Conditional Access.
• Knowledge of security best practices, standards, and regulations, such as NIST, CIS Controls, GDPR, HIPAA, and Azure AD security features.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving Active Directory and Azure AD-related issues.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills for creating and maintaining technical documentation and reports.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications, are preferred.
