Let’s talk about the roleThe primary role of Senior Technical Program Manager is to manage end-to-end cross-functional delivery of software program / projects in the Digital Platform space. Key deliverables include requirements gathering, documentation, scoping, defining goals/deadlines, resource allocation, tracking budget and implementation. Management of projects in accordance with the ResMed Quality Management System. You will partner with teams across the Digital Platform group, whose mission is to increase the speed of innovation through platforms that enable seamless development and management of intelligent digital services. You will manage complex, high-impact programs related to Developer Experience, Cloud Capabilities, Security and Privacy by Design and more, collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and sponsors across multiple geographies.Facilitate project and program-level processes, drive execution, escalate impediments, manage risks and help foster continuous improvement across projects and programs.Define project scope, set schedules, and ensure regular and timely delivery of value to end customers.Address resource constraints, dependencies, and timing challenges while syncing efforts across teams.Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, program managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business commitments and sync points across teams.Manage and communicate the implementation of significant changes to planning objectives, schedules, and product configurations to internal and external stakeholders.Provide regular status updates, highlighting accomplishments, plans, and any issues across assigned programs.Perform work in a specialized area requiring a deep understanding of fundamental principles, themes, and concepts.Accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly and professionallyLet’s talk about Qualifications and ExperienceRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplineCombination of education and work experience will be considered7+ years of Program Management experience working directly with multiple agile, product and/or platform teamsStrong understanding of the software development lifecycleExperience with agile software development tools such as Jira and ConfluenceExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsOutstanding time management and organization skillsAdept in problem-solving, facilitating decision making and resolving conflictPreferred:Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirableExperience working in a modern cloud-based software product development environment, with cloud-native AWS experience and strong developer experience preferredProfessional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications are preferredExperience working with medical devices or a regulated environment is a plusWhy join us At Resmed, you’ll be part of a mission driven company focused on improving health and quality of life.
