IT Project Manager Position DescriptionWe are seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team. The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule consisting of two (2) days each week (Wednesdays & Thursdays) onsite in Lansing, MI and three (3) days each week remotely.We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Project Manager to lead public health interoperability initiatives. This role will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects that enhance data exchange between public health agencies, healthcare providers, and community partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health informatics, stakeholder engagement, and project management methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgetsCoordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure interoperability goals are metEnsure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulationsFacilitate stakeholder meetings and communication strategiesMonitor project progress and prepare reports for leadership and fundersIdentify and mitigate project risks and barriersPromote adoption of interoperability tools and workflowsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in public health, Health Informatics, or related field (Master's preferred)8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in public health or healthcare ITPMP certification requiredCAPM or Agile certification preferredFamiliarity with health data standards and public health systemsExperience with public health programs, clinical systems, or IT infrastructure is highly valuable.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsExperience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies***Please note that any false information on your resume or application could lead to the offer being withdrawn or even termination after hire.***
