Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability and willingness to acquire a DOT medical card
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to read a tape measure and use general hand tools
- Hold Unique skills or abilities applicable to the trades associated with General Construction
o I.E. a Selection of
- Efficiently and Safely Operating Equipment
- Setting Forms
- Flat work, Wall forms, or Curb Forms
- Effectively Placing Concrete or Asphalt
- Effectively Finishing Concrete of Asphalt
- Being Mechanically inclined
- Ability to accurately read prints
- General Carpentry skills
- General skills in Mathematics
- Ability to set grades
- Ability to use Msc. Power tools
- Etc.
Responsibilities
- Follow Directions and accomplish tasks set out by foreman
- Aid crew and foreman with various designated tasks pertaining to all levels of the Job
- Take efforts to ensure a clean job site, job trailer, and tools
- Preform variable labor related tasks such as moving, storing, and applying various materials, tools, and equipment.
- Driving Single axle Dump trucks
- Driving Miscellaneous trucks and trailers
- Arrive onsite at scheduled times
- Take necessary steps to learn and advance in role
- Assist in Developing and teaching skills to General Laborers
