Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher by providing valuable support to young learners during a maternity leave assignment. This contract opportunity runs from August 3 to November 30 and offers a unique hybrid schedule. You’ll engage in direct, in-person service and assessments across multiple schools from Monday to Thursday, while conveniently handling paperwork and IEP meetings remotely. This role lets you foster growth, collaboration, and inclusivity in dynamic educational settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (SPED) required
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Special Education preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working across multiple school sites (travel required within Kiowa, Bennett, and Byers)
• Confidence in hybrid roles: both in-person and remote responsibilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, student-centered environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver special education services and support to early childhood students
• Conduct in-person assessments and direct services at assigned schools
• Prepare and participate in IEP meetings (remote participation permitted)
• Maintain timely and accurate student records and documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Communicate regularly with parents and staff to monitor student progress
• Contribute to a welcoming and supportive educational environment

This role is offered on a 4-day per week schedule, totaling 32 hours, and is ideal for educators seeking a balanced hybrid arrangement.
