Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Valley Behavioral Health, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of therapeutic tasks aimed at improving the well-being of clients:

- Conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for couples and families, as well as individual clients. \n
- Facilitating therapeutic sessions that address issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustment to separation or divorce. \n
- Applying evidence-based practices and methodologies to guide therapy sessions, ensuring the highest standard of care. \n
- Utilizing telehealth platforms effectively to provide care and maintain strong therapeutic relationships. \n
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate and address complex emotional and psychological issues impacting clients. \n
- Documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational protocols and HIPAA regulations. \n
In this role, you will work with adult clients, children, and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health challenges. Your expertise will support family dynamics through interventions addressing:

- Conflicts among family members, including sibling rivalry and communication difficulties. \n
- Adjustment issues related to blended families and the impact of separation or divorce. \n
- Health-related stressors and psychological trauma for clients of diverse backgrounds. \n
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

- A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. \n
- Current active license in the state of Massachusetts as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A commitment to professional development and a passion for patient care. \n
While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly valued:

- Experience working with teletherapy and digital health solutions. \n
- Familiarity with treatment models focused on family systems and interpersonal relationships. \n
- Previous work in community health settings or with diverse populations is a plus. \n
