Data Engineer - Hybrid

Data Engineer PositionGenesis10 is currently seeking a Data Engineer position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a hybrid 6 month contract opportunity.This role is responsible for building scalable ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines for large volumes of data. The ideal candidate will work with various platforms including DataBricks Medallion Layers, Azure Data Factory, and SQL Server to support a Metrics Repository and the onboarding of new datasets.Responsibilities:Build systems that gather, store, and process large volumes of data for analysisDevelop scalable ETL, ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelinesEnsure data quality and optimize data storage solutionsSupport the Metrics Repository and the onboarding of new datasetsRequirements:5-7 years of experience in a data engineering roleProficiency with Python and SQLExperience with cloud data tools, specifically Azure Data FactoryExperience with DataBricks Medallion LayersPay range: up to $70.23 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
