TIG Welder – 1st ShiftTitle: TIG Welder – 1st ShiftLocation: Delano, MN 55328Pay Rate: $23.00-27.00/hrJob Type: FullTimeJob DescriptionAbout the Opportunity: Job Title: TIG Welder Pay Rate Range: $23.00-$27.00/hr Location: Delano, MN Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM and Friday 6AM-10AM Mandatory overtime as required *schedules may vary. Position Type: Temp to Hire.Requirements and Qualifications: High School education or equivalent. Welding certificate from college or technical school. Prior welding experience in a manufacturing environment Strong math skills, visual inspection, and computer abilities are necessary. Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills. Able to work collaboratively and/or independently. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Good manual dexterity and ability to use a variety of torches, hand tools, and power tools safely.Duties and Responsibilities: References prints and work instructions to determine the appropriate materials, tools, resources, and procedures for effectively completing processes. Select and assemble TIG torch or MIG guns, torch tips and filler rods for what is required for each job. Positions component parts together to obtain required configurations and weld to meet print requirements. Examines welded sections for defects. Inspects, tests and adjusts completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements using test equipment, rulers, calipers, etc. to ensure accuracy and conformance to Quality standards. Able to work as part of a team in a manufacturing cell utilizing single piece flow concepts. Demonstrate consistent commitment to quality and possess exceptional attention to detail. Maintains clean and efficient workspace. Properly scan in and out of jobs.
