Registered Nurse- System Float Med/Surg – Nights Contingent 72 hours per month Shifts Available: Nights Choose one zone to work plus one additional hospital outside of the zone (total of 5 hospital locations). GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient‑specific data collection (such as vital signs). Two years of related clinical nursing experience in the area of interest and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required. Willingness to float to multiple locations. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Certifications/Licenses Required Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Current BLS. ACLS, NRP, and EFM where required.
