Sauté Cook – Cappuccino's West Knoxville Cappuccino's is hiring an experienced Sauté Cook to join our West Knoxville kitchen team! If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in putting out great food, and know your way around a sauté station, we want to hear from you! We're looking for an experienced cook who can bring speed, consistency, organization, and a positive attitude to the line. As a Sauté Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering the quality our guests expect while working alongside a team that knows how to work hard and have fun doing it. What You'll Do Set up and prepare your station for successful service Prepare and cook menu items accurately and efficiently Assemble ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications Maintain proper food temperatures, quality, and portion standards Keep your station clean, organized, stocked, and sanitary Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Use thermometers, digital scales, and other kitchen equipment properly Communicate and work closely with the rest of the kitchen team Learn new menu items, features, and specials as they are introduced Help ensure kitchen equipment is being used safely and functioning properly Stay organized and composed during busy service periods What We're Looking For Previous sauté experience is required Kitchen line experience strongly preferred Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of recipes, measurements, and basic conversions Ability to use a digital scale and thermometer Dependable team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humor Takes pride in quality, cleanliness, and consistency Ability to follow recipes and specifications accurately Comfortable standing, bending, and walking throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally more with assistance Why Cappuccino's?
