Job Summary

A healthcare facility in Conroe, TX is seeking an experienced House Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative leadership during assigned shifts. This position oversees hospital operations, coordinates patient care activities, supports nursing staff, manages staffing needs, and ensures high standards of patient care throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is an experienced registered nurse with strong leadership skills and experience working with behavioral health patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical oversight during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate patient care and hospital operations across multiple departments.
• Supervise, support, and mentor nursing staff while promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Make staffing assignments and adjust resources to meet patient care needs.
• Respond to clinical and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to support quality patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.
• Assist with patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharge coordination.
• Serve as a resource for staff during emergencies and complex clinical situations.
• Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Experience working with behavioral health patients required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Current BLS certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire).
