Surgical/Scrub Tech Opportunity

This Surgical/Scrub Tech opportunity is per diem on our Surgery Unit and offers a convenient schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Surgical/Scrub Tech that will monitor PAR level of all surgical instruments and pain management supplies. Clean and sterilize all surgical instruments used in the OR and Pain Center. Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Demonstrate service excellence standards at all times.

Job duties include interacting professionally with patients and family. Provide patient with explanations and verbal reassurance, as necessary. Notify appropriate licensed personnel when patient complains of pain. Adapt procedures to meet individual needs of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for treatment.

Qualifications include a minimum high school diploma or equivalent, surgical technician certification, one year of experience, and current BLS certification.
