Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality, resident-centered care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily living activities, promote their comfort and safety, and support nursing staff in maintaining a high standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to the nursing staff.

• Measure and record vital signs as assigned.

• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation while following safety protocols.

• Maintain residents' personal hygiene, dignity, privacy, and comfort.

• Document care provided and maintain accurate resident records.

• Follow infection control procedures and facility policies.

• Keep residents' rooms and surrounding areas clean, safe, and organized.

• Provide emotional support and communicate respectfully with residents, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements:

• Active CNA certification in the state of practice.

• Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or a similar setting preferred.

• Current BLS certification if required by the facility.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

• Ability to assist residents with lifting, transfers, and mobility.

• Ability to work the assigned shift, including weekends and holidays as required.
