About the Role Investor Relations (IR) is responsible for cultivating and managing State Street’s relationships with institutional investors and research analysts across both equity and fixed‑income markets. The IR team plays a critical role in communicating the company’s strategy and financial performance to the investment community, ensuring a clear and accurate understanding of State Street’s strategic direction and financial position. The Vice President, Fixed Income Investor Relations reports to and partners closely with the Senior Vice President, Head of Fixed Income Investor Relations, and is responsible for shaping and delivering State Street’s investor‑relations strategy for debt investors and other key fixed‑income stakeholders. Responsibilities Assist in the development and execution of State Street’s fixed‑income IR strategy in collaboration with senior IR leadership. Help organize and execute fixed‑income investor events, including roadshows and conferences as required. Contribute to the creation of fixed‑income investor materials, including presentations and management Q&A documents, ensuring messaging is analytically driven and aligned with corporate strategy. Assist in managing relationships with buy‑side and sell‑side credit analysts, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of public information. Monitor and analyze fixed‑income market trends and investor sentiment to shape the firm’s messaging and engagement strategy. Serve as a resource to senior leadership on fixed‑income market dynamics and investor expectations. Track and analyze trading activity, credit spreads, and investor behaviour to inform IR strategy. Help inform funding strategy and capital planning through investor feedback and market analysis. Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Legal and other teams on the execution of debt issuances. Support interactions with credit rating agencies and help ensure consistent messaging between rating agencies and debt investors. Maintain accurate records of investor interactions and disclosures. Qualifications Minimum of 8 years experience in investor relations, ratings‑agency research, fixed‑income credit analysis, corporate finance or investment banking with a focus on financials. Strong understanding of capital markets, banking and the financial services industry. Exceptional financial acumen with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, investor‑friendly communication. Clear understanding of the drivers of financial performance and debt and equity valuation. Strong written and oral communication skills and executive presence. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish new relationships quickly, both internally and externally. Ability to perform in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with time‑sensitive deadlines and multiple demands. High ethical standards and thorough understanding of Regulation FD and all applicable securities rules and regulations. Ability to remain current on economic, political and financial industry regulations and market outlook. Fluent in PowerPoint and Excel and strong presentation skills. Preferred: CFA or equivalent qualification. Preferred: experience in fixed‑income markets. Proven ownership mindset and collaborative teamwork. Detail oriented, able to adapt quickly to a fast‑paced environment. Uncompromising ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Compensation Salary Range: $120,000 – $202,500 per year. The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified; other locations may have a different range.
