Insurance Coverage Attorney

Our client, a prestigious national law firm, is seeking a temporary attorney to support their growing California practice.

The ideal candidate will have insurance coverage litigation experience from a law firm. They will handle coverage and insurance defense matters, litigation, and arbitration. Conduct legal research, draft legal memoranda and other litigation-related documents, and provide high-quality legal advice. Be able to prepare and manage cases, offer legal strategies, and participate in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations to assist with and be part of a top-tier legal team. Efficiently manage multiple cases with a keen eye for detail and superior organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Handle coverage and insurance defense matters for the insured, litigation, and arbitration.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal memoranda and other litigation-related documents, and provide high-quality legal advice.
• Prepare and manage cases, offer legal strategies, and participate in court proceedings, arbitrations, and mediations to assist with and be part of a top-tier legal team.
• Efficiently manage multiple cases with a keen eye for detail and superior organizational skills.

Required Skills:

• Admissions to California state bar
• A Juris Doctorate (JD) from a top-tier accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• 5+ years of litigation, arbitration, and/or insurance/reinsurance experience.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and court proceedings.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, communication, analytical, time management, organizational, and verbal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
