Description:
Unit staffing consists of a Director, Manager, 1 Supervisor/Charge Therapist per shift, and regular staff members.
Type of equipment used includes High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers.
The documentation system in use is Meditech.
Floating policy may require coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.
Current NICU/PICU experience is considered advanced skills needed for this position.
Respiratory Therapists provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases utilizing advanced technologies and medication delivery.
Candidates should be team players, critical thinkers, and focused on patient care.
The work environment is fast-paced and requires adaptability to change.
A multidisciplinary approach to patient care is essential and collaboration is key.
Required uniform is Light Gray, also known as Silver.
