About This Job We are seeking a mission‑driven Talent Acquisition professional to support strategies that strengthen and expand initiatives to recruit, hire, retain, and advance team members. This specific position will be responsible for strategic recruitment in our highest priority schools and hard‑to‑fill instructional positions, as well as CDL Bus Drivers . Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, along with experience recruiting for hard‑to‑fill positions. What You’ll Do Lead the development, organization, and execution of recruitment strategies for campus, community, and diversity recruitment activities for local, state, national, and international initiatives. Coordinate and attend recruitment events (job fairs, open houses, conferences, and district‑sponsored events) and ensure ROI and KPIs are captured and monitored. Identify, recruit, source, cold call passive candidates, and cultivate talented candidates across schools and various positions. Determine salaries by assessing experience and education following established guidelines per DPS and/or bargaining unit. Support pre‑boarding activities such as new hire paperwork and offer letters. Validate qualifications, credentials, and licenses required of school‑based hires; verify that candidates meet minimum requirements and confirm that all new hire documentation is completed and received. Collaborate with Human Resources Partners to monitor and meet client group recruitment objectives. Compile and create data reports and other forms of recruitment and retention statistics; assist in creating state‑of‑the‑art recruitment communications (e.g., banners, advertisements, brochures, web content). Develop and nurture relationships with customers, school principals, community constituents, and partners in institutions of higher education; attend partnership meetings and serve on school, community, and business committees, councils, and advisory groups. Ensure critical operational support during PTO “blackout” periods and required attendance, including evening and weekend work for district‑wide professional development, special school events, job fairs, hiring events, peak hiring season. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s in Business, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience in lieu of education. Three or more years of related recruiting and onboarding experience preferred. Demonstrated success recruiting for hard‑to‑fill positions.
