About the Position

Job Title: Rehabilitation Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Medical/surgical experience or similar setting Description: General comments about the unit include a total of 36 beds. Staff typically consists of 10-13 members. The day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. The night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. Patient ratios are 5 to 6 patients per nurse. Equipment used in the unit includes Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand lifts. An electronic medical record system is utilized. Typical procedures performed include IV medications, peg tube feedings, heparin drips, and wound care. Candidates should possess a positive, energetic, collaborative, caring, and dependable personality. Candidates selected for this role must have the BLS certification. The dress code requires scrub color to be navy blue.
