Operations Supervisor Furlani Foods, located in Oak Creek, WI, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our new, state‑of‑the‑art bakery. The role involves managing a team of 58‑62 associates, supervising high‑speed production and packaging lines, and driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Collaborate cross‑functionally with QA, Warehousing, Sanitation, and Maintenance to integrate and align production goals. Drive operational excellence by optimizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), minimizing downtime, and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles. Foster team engagement through coaching, development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and food safety standards, including GMP, SQF, and HACCP protocols. Key Performance Indicators Improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Reduction in machine downtime and food safety incidents Health & Safety incident prevention Enhanced product quality and reduction of waste Qualifications Experienced supervisor with a hands‑on approach, problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to inspire high‑performing teams. 2‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies. Strong leadership and team development skills. Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards. Travel required: within Canada and USA, once or twice a year for training. Bonus Points If You Are bilingual in English and Spanish. Have formal Lean training (Greenbelt certification).
