- Efficiently pack plastic bags according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct basic quality checks on packed bags for defects or issues and report any discrepancies.
- Follow packing guidelines and procedures to ensure the integrity and appearance of the finished product.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area, disposing of waste and packaging materials appropriately.
- Communicate any shortages, quality concerns, or equipment issues to the Shift Supervisor or relevant personnel.
- Read and follow packing instructions and safety guidelines to ensure compliance and product quality.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure a smooth flow of finished products for packing.
- Lifting 50 lbs frequently, with occasional lifting greater than 75 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and quality standards for packing operations.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic reading and writing skills to understand and follow packing instructions and safety guidelines.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required in the packing process.
