About the Role:

As the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Your leadership skills will be essential in motivating and guiding your team to achieve exceptional results, while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment. Your expertise in the latest cleaning technologies and best practices will also be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and innovation in our housekeeping services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of housekeeping and laundry staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure excellent performance and employee satisfaction

• Develop and implement effective housekeeping and laundry procedures, policies, and standards, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, quality, and safety in all areas of the facility

• Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and analyze data to optimize resources and improve efficiency

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery

• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in a leadership role in housekeeping and laundry operations

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software and systems
