About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide executive leadership in enterprise technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the organization's IT strategy, ensuring it is aligned with long-term business objectives. This role involves leading a large IT organization, driving digital transformation, and overseeing all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, software engineering, networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture. The CIO will also be tasked with managing multi-million-dollar technology budgets, establishing and monitoring KPIs, and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance organizational performance. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and software development, and a proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives. Executive-level communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to align technology strategy with the company's growth and operational objectives. Experience in mission-critical, 24/7 business environments, and a background in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations, particularly with ERP, TMS, WMS, CRM, and enterprise financial systems, is highly valued.
