Job Details Location: Phoenix, Arizona - Phoenix, AZ 85085 Position Type: Full Time Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Day Job Category: Survey/Land Survey Responsibilities Operate and maintain survey instruments and equipment, including total stations, GPS units, and levels. Assist surveyors in conducting field surveys and mapping projects, ensuring accurate data collection and documentation. Record and manage survey data, ensuring it is organized and accessible for analysis and reporting. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective survey operations. Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment in the field. Communicate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide updates on survey progress and findings. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to survey equipment and data collection processes. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in land surveying or a related field; experience with field data collection and survey equipment operation. Skills: Proficiency in using survey instruments such as total stations, GPS, and levels; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maps; strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection; excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently; effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients; physical ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains; basic computer skills for data entry and processing.
