Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Solutions Specialist to serve as a techno‑functional lead across its enterprise financial systems landscape. This role supports the evolution, integration, and optimization of cloud‑based ERP and PSA platforms, partnering closely with Finance, Technology, and senior business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines deep finance process knowledge , hands‑on technical problem‑solving , and the ability to communicate clearly with executive‑level audiences. This is not a managerial role — the team needs someone who can get into the weeds, troubleshoot complex issues, and design scalable solutions.

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Locations: NYC, Boston, Chicago, Louisville, Phoenix, Urbandale (IA), or London (UK)

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands‑on technical support, including SQL‑based analysis, data validation, and issue resolution.
• Lead UAT cycles, change management efforts, and user enablement through documentation and training.
• Maintain system configurations, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with IT controls and security standards.
• Develop and support API‑based and data integrations; guide troubleshooting and ensure high‑quality technical delivery.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile environments (Scrum/SAFe) to deliver enhancements and continuous improvements.
• Design end‑to‑end solutions across ERP/PSA platforms, leading fit‑gap analysis and advising on functionality, risks, and cost considerations.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for finance systems, including billing, revenue recognition, time entry, WIP, and project accounting processes.
• Partner with Finance, Technology, and business teams to gather requirements, assess complexity, and translate needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Able to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
• Collaborative team player with a neutral, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Experience delivering solutions in Agile environments (Scrum or SAFe)
• Strong communicator who can interface confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable owning complex technical challenges.
• Hands‑on problem solver who can dive deep into data, integrations, and system logic.
• Experience working with Salesforce platform and enterprise ERP/financial systems.
• Hands‑on proficiency with Oracle SQL for analysis, troubleshooting, and data validation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong expertise in revenue recognition, billing/invoicing, month‑end close, and core accounting processes.
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Strongly Desired (Not Required)

• 3–4 years of experience with Certinia PSA or Certinia ERP.
• Background supporting multiple ERP/PSA implementations.
• Experience coaching or mentoring analysts or administrators.
• Experience with multi‑currency, project accounting, resource management, or PSA/ERP financial modules.

Please Note: Candidates without Certinia experience will still be considered if they meet the core requirements (Salesforce platform experience, ERP/finance systems knowledge, revenue recognition/billing expertise, SQL proficiency, and strong techno‑functional skills)
