Physician-Assistant Opportunity
HealthPlus Staffing is assisting an Urgent Care clinic in NYC on their search for a Physician-Assistant to provide locum coverage on a PRN basis. Our client has a State of the Art facility, and is looking for someone who can work weekend shifts, as needed. Find more information below:
Preferred schedule: 9am-5pm, combination of weekends and weekdays.
Background and Certifications required. NY state PA certificate.
What procedures will candidate perform? Laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal, suture removal.
What patient population do you typically serve? Age 1 year old to 100 year old.
Is there call? If yes, what is call schedule? No.
Is there support staff on site? If yes, how many? One PCA, one MA.
What is the average patient volume? 2-2.5 patients per hour.
What is the EMR system? eClinical Work.
How long is credentialing? Can physician start before credentialing is completed? Credentialing takes one month. Provider can start before credentialing is completed.
