Sign Installer - Installation Technician II (Experienced)

This position is for experienced sign or commercial installers who can work independently, lead installs on-site, and confidently troubleshoot electrical and structural issues. If you’ve installed channel letters, monuments, or similar signage and want consistent work, strong pay, and a predictable schedule—this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

• Install commercial signage (channel letters, monuments, etc.)
• Lead and work with other installers on job sites
• Prep job sites and demo existing signage; on-site painting and cleaning
• Perform basic electrical work (wiring, LEDs, troubleshooting)
• Ensure installs match approved proof packs
• Safely operate tools, lifts, bucket trucks, and company vehicles
• Transport, load, and secure materials and equipment
• Perform sign maintenance and repairs as needed
• Communicate with Project Managers and upload completion photos
• Keep job sites clean and vehicles organized
• Complete required paperwork and safety documentation
• Follow OSHA, NEC, and all safety/regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For

• Prior signage or commercial installation experience (3+ years) required
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT physical
• Strong electrical knowledge (wiring, LEDs, troubleshooting, NEC)
• Able to operate hand and power tools confidently
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, bucket trucks)
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and work outdoors year-round
• Team-oriented, dependable, and safety-focused

Bonus Experience (Not Required):

• Welding certifications
• Heavy equipment operation
• CDL Class B
• OSHA 10/30
• Additional safety or technical certifications
• Travel availability

Compensation & Benefits

• $25–$30/hour based on experience
• Overtime available
• 4-day work week (Mon–Thurs)
• Benefits package after 90 days
