Registered Behavior Technician / RBT

Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT)We are hiring Registered Behavior Therapists (RBT) to provide ABA services in our outpatient pediatric center in Lawton, OK. Experience working with children with disabilities preferred. Flexible schedule with day, afternoon, evenings, and weekend availability.Behavior therapist will implement behavior plans created by the BCBA. This position requires up to 29 hours per week with a gradual caseload increase.No experience necessary. We will train you! We also offer the RBT course at our centers.The Sunshine Center is dedicated to children of all ages experiencing challenges with learning, social skills, sensory processing, speech/language difficulties, and/or motor development delays.Full-time benefits:Competitive salary: $19-$23 hrProfessional support & development: individualized on-demand training as neededAnnual $500 stipend for professional development/educationEligible for comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, prescription)Paid holidays/vacation daysEligible for company-matched 401(k)Voluntary supplemental insurance and flexible spending accountTherapy tools and equipment provided to all staffJob description:Follow BCBA program bookRun and implement BCBA programs (ex. imitation programs, one-step directions, play, academic, fine motor, gross motor, etc.)Collect dataMove children through program stepsProblem solve to help with behaviorsConverse with parents regarding sessions/behaviorsGuide and educate parentsDevelop session materialsDevelop social skills lesson plan ideasCollaborate with Sunshine Center teamBe able to restrain, run after, or lift a child from the floor if necessaryMust be able to physically prompt a childImplement behavior intervention plansComplete all paperwork by deadlineAssist with changing diapers and potty training as neededPerform other duties as assigned/requiredWork with children at the center and their home (if necessary)Qualifications:High school diploma requiredInterest in children and educationDesire to assist students with special needs in a learning environmentBasic computer literacy of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, ACCESSLift up to 50 lbs if necessary (lift children from the floor to safe place)Good verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to function independently and multitaskActive RBT certification preferredPlease submit your resume for immediate consideration.
