American Traveler Job ID #P‑697089 Assignment Details Start Date: May 25, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour shift, days) Shift: 3×12 hour days (7:00–19:30) or nights (19:00–7:30) Travel assignment – must reside more than 60 miles from the facility Epic EMR experience required Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients Airway management, ventilator management, medication administration, chest physiotherapy, nebulizer treatments, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy care Assist with neonatal/pediatric procedures (intubation assist, extubation, airway suctioning, pulmonary hygiene) Interpret arterial blood gases Float to different units as required Qualifications Current RRT credential required Ohio state RT license required if applicable BLS and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years of PICU or CT‑PICU experience in a pediatric hospital (hard stop) Pediatric cardiac ICU experience preferred Trauma Level I experience preferred Proficiency with medication delivery systems including MDI, aerosol mask/trach setups, and medications such as albuterol, atrozact, flovent, nitrogen oxide, and racemic epinephrine Experience with ventilator modes: BiPAP, CPAP, high‑frequency oscillation, weaning Ability to interpret ABGs 2 supervisory references required Additional Information First‑time travelers eligible to apply Previous permanent employment at the facility requires a gap of at least 2 years #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
