Overview Job Title: Accounting Manager Job Location: Remote Job Shift: US PST Shift (8 pm-5 am, IST) We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join us and expand our team. Responsibilities and Duties Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for client accounts Oversee and review the monthly close process, including preparation and review of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements Prepare and review operational cash flow forecasts and support clients in understanding key financial performance indicators Perform and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across balance sheet accounts and resolving discrepancies promptly Prepare various financial analyses, reports, and ad hoc requests to support internal teams and client stakeholders Coordinate and support statutory audits and financial statement audits, including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor requests Lead or support the implementation and optimization of NetSuite, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial processes and systems Design, maintain, and optimize the chart of accounts and financial structures within NetSuite to ensure accurate financial reporting Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and maintain strong internal control practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency Preferred Qualifications Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred). 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting, consulting, or outsourced accounting environments. Strong expertise in end-to-end accounting processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Hands-on experience working with NetSuite ERP and other cloud accounting systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with US-based clients and internal teams. Comfortable working in a remote, client-facing environment, using collaboration tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Slack. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
